Baby Gracie wanted to learn how to get the “kids’ channel” on TV and knew exactly how to reach dad through the family’s video doorbell systems to ask him how it was done. And the results were absolutely hilarious and so sweet that it will melt your heart!
Children are the most beautiful creatures on Earth. Not only are they extremely clever but they are also exceedingly loving.
When they come into this world, we must teach them everything they will know.
And the very first thing that they learn how to do is love. After that, they are pretty quick to pick up all the other things we teach them. We’re often shocked by what our children are able to pick up and absorb.
Baby Gracie was with mom at a neighbor’s house when he decided that he just wanted to go home and watch some TV.
So, mom gave him permission to walk back over to his house and go inside and watch TV.
He already knew how to turn the TV on, but he didn’t know how what number was the kids’ channel. This clever boy didn’t feel like running back across the yard to ask his mom.
This clever tyke knew that he would be able to reach his dad by activating the home’s video doorbell system.
The system sets off an alert on his dad’s cell phone advising him that someone is at the door.
It also acts as an intercom so he can talk to the person at the door. Baby Gracie knew this and figured he would just alert his dad and ask him what number the kids’ channel was.
Baby Gracie walked up to his front door and set off a system alert.
“Dad, dad?” he says into the camera.
“Baby Gracie?” his dad responds.
“Dad!!!” Baby Gracie responds so excited that he screams a bit with joy.
“How you doin?” his dad asks.
The very first thing he wants to tell his daddy is that he loves him.
“I love you,” the boy tells his dad.
Baby Gracie then proceeds to cover the camera in smooches which clouds it up.
“Aww that’s my kid,” dad says. “How’s it goin, man?”
Baby Gracie then asks his dad how to turn on the kids’ channel. This makes dad laugh.
“In the house?” he asks.
“Yeah, how do you?” Baby Gracie says.
Baby Gracie is so clever he seems to know that his dad is already wondering why Baby Gracie wants to know this.
“Yeah, I’m over here by myself. Mom letted me,” he tells his dad.
“Well, where’s your mom at? You’re not supposed to be home alone,” dad asks.
Baby Gracie explains that she’s at the neighbor’s house and that she gave him permission to come home and watch TV. Dad was reassured by this and tells Baby Gracie to press the power button on the side of the TV.
But Baby Gracie already knows that, he just doesn’t know what channel to set it to. His dad tells him that it might be 25.
“I don’t know what 25 looks like,” Baby Gracie says almost yelling. “Come on!”
This has his dad in hysterics. Baby Gracie then sticks his eyeball into the camera, then he kisses it again which makes his dad laugh even harder.
“Get the remote for the TV and then press the number two and the number five when you point it at the TV,” dad says. “That should work for ya.”
The sweet boy got what he needed but he wanted to give his dad one more thing.
“OK bye dad, I’ll give you one more kiss,” he says before covering the camera with smooches again.
“Thank you, buddy, I love you bye bye,” his dad says giggling.
Baby Gracie than opens the door and walks into his house to watch some TV.
This video is just too cute.
If the adorable Baby Gracie doesn’t make you want to have kids, I don’t know what will.
The video was posted on Facebook by the Ring company which sells the video doorbell systems.
Millions of people have been smitten by this sweet little boy and have watched the video more than 16 million times.
“This smart kid knew exactly how to get a hold of dad when a very important matter needed to be solved,” Ring wrote in its Facebook post.
