Being a parent is a blessing, but it also involves lots of stress. Parental responsibilities can be really overwhelming sometimes, as can the anxiety they bring with them.

One of the moments that parents and children enjoy the most is going outside and having some fun. But this can quickly turn into every parent’s worst nightmare: losing their child in the middle of the street.

One moment your child is next to you looking at the buildings and the trees around you, and the next, you turn around and just can’t see them anywhere.

We can only imagine the panic that hits once you realize you’ve lost your child.

Now, the same goes for the child. Turning around only to find out that the adult accompanying them is not there anymore can stress them out in ways we can’t even guess.

Sadly, many children go missing in the US every year. This is why parents should teach them what to do in such an emergency from an early age.

“If they see a police officer, firefighter, security guard, park ranger, or festival employee nearby they can ask them for help. But, they should not leave the festival, mall, or amusement park in search of you,” experts advise.

Luckily, when little Juan Cruz got lost in a plaza in Argentina a few weeks ago, he had a whole crowd supporting him and helping him find his father.

You see, the boy got lost in the crowd and he immediately panicked. He started sobbing and worrying about how he would be able to spot his father, but, thankfully, there were a bunch of nice people around, who went above and beyond to help him.

The tallest man around at the time placed him on his shoulders, while a music band that happened to be performing there started chanting the boy’s father’s name, Eduardo.

Little by little, more and more people started chanting Eduardo’s name, and in this way letting the man know that his boy was with them. In fact, they turned it into a song of sorts, singing, “Eduardo, come and find Juan Cruz!”

The boy couldn’t stop crying on the man’s shoulder’s and it was definitely a heartbreaking sight, but, thankfully, it didn’t last long.

Only moments later, Juan Cruz’s father appeared and he rushed to his little boy. The two were reunited and hugged each other so tight that watching them made tears well up in our eyes.

The video was posted on social media and it soon went viral with millions of views.

The video also caused an argument on Reddit about the different reaction people have when a child gets lost in the US and in Argentina.

“I wish we had anything remotely similar in the States,” someone wrote, while another user replied “There’s a good chance you will help only to be accused of starting the problem or hurting the child.”

In any case, how those people reacted in the case of Juan Cruz is amazing, and we really wish all people that get lost could be reunited with their parents so quickly.
