Flight attendants need to pass really challenging and hard training to land a job and be part of an amazing team.

Among the many traits of a flight attendant, one must be smart, alert, patient, and compassionate.

You never know what will happen on each flight and you need to ensure the safety, happiness, and security of each passenger.

Flight attendant Diana Giraldo made sure that she did her job and more.

Her work didn’t end with ensuring the flight’s passengers were okay and relaxed. She assisted a woman who went into early labor last May 17, 2022.

Frontier Airlines unexpectedly welcomed a tiny new passenger mid-flight as one of their passengers gave birth on the plane.

Flight attendant Diana Giraldo rushed to the woman when she saw what was happening. She asked a few questions and when she realized what was happening; she guided the pregnant woman to the lavatory.

There, she helped the woman give birth to a beautiful baby girl.

In a Facebook post by Frontier Airlines, they said that the baby couldn’t wait and decided it was time to say hello to the world.

Can you imagine the situation?

The flight attendant was calm throughout the event, and without her, anyone would panic. She helped the mother remain calm, and that was the reason she was able to give birth.

“Exemplary and calm were the words Captain Chris Nye used for Flight Attendant Diana Giraldo’s heroic task of delivering a baby recently mid-flight,” Frontier Airlines posted.

We agree. Diana wasn’t just compassionate, she was alert and knew exactly what to do.

“The baby couldn’t wait, so the early and unexpected labor took place on a flight from Denver International Airport to Orlando International Airport (MCO).”

Everyone in the airline did a great job. They remained calm and took control of the situation, even if it was challenging.

It’s hard to remain calm when something like this happens. A baby who was early was going to be born and they didn’t have what they needed to deliver a baby.

No wonder their story went viral!

They were able to use what they have and delivered the baby successfully. After delivering the baby, the hero flight attendant went back to her regular duties.

An amazing woman indeed!

The pilot transferred the controls and flying duties to his First Officer and he coordinated the diversion.

According to Captain Chris Nye even the dispatch did an amazing job by suggesting the Pensacola Airport. They also made sure that there was a gate available and that there were also paramedics ready.

Everything went smoothly. The pilot was so proud of his crew.

As for the baby, she was sleeping well when they landed, and according to the mother, she decided to make her baby’s middle name “Sky”.
