I lost it over the "middle school babysitter."

Different folks, different strokes. Even when it comes to carrying babies and that’s a really scary thought. There is a proper way to carry those tiny humans and even the experts can back up their claims of how to do so.

Daniel LaBelle took it upon himself to show the internet crowd how each member of the family holds the smallest human in the house. And it is hilarious.

He starts off with how dads go about while carrying a baby. One arm with the baby resting on his chest and belly. Yup, that’s pretty accurate.

Then he does what all of us have seen. The baby sitting on dad’s shoulders while dad walks around as if he just has a bag on his body. Though I will admit, it is fun carrying them that way…

From risky dad to riskier dad… Don’t drop the kid!

But when it’s some other guy holding a friend’s baby, he’s going to hold on to that child like his life depended on it. Notice the concentration on his face? That’s all of us when asked to hold someone else’s child.

His version of how moms do it is both exaggerated but actually touching. We all know moms are amazing, even superheroes in their own right, so he carries the child with his right arm, a laundry basket with his left, all while on the phone with a friend.

The way he uses his legs to kick up that towel only shows how awesome moms are. Funny though.

If your little one has older siblings, then you can relate to how he mimics a big brother who just wants to hold the baby.

He kicks his legs excitedly, arms out adamantly reaching out for the baby, except the baby isn’t being held right. The child is resting in between the forearms and the biceps, but after a few seconds, he puts the baby down with an emphatic, “I’m done.”

It’s a good thing this guy used a doll…

The bigger brother is pretty accurate. He tries to show mom that the baby is hanging fro, his neck, but as he lets go, so does the baby… There will be crying, shouting, and cursing after that one.

And then the stereotypical babysitter. Always with her eyes on her phone, chewing gum, hips out, all while holding the poor little human with one arm. That’s really bad posture.

Now here’s where he really nails it. The grandparents! His imitation of how grandpa and grandma hold the baby is exactly how grandparents everywhere do it.

Grandpa’s got that no nonsense, straight up walk and pat even though everyone knows he’s smitten while grandma does nothing but coo and tickle her precious cargo, and that’s before they give their presents.

Pretty accurate representations, don’t you think? So which one are you? Better practice with a doll if you’re an aspiring parent.
