It’s sometimes hard to know what a baby wants. Hungry? Cry. Tired? Cry. Teething? Cry. When the response to most things is to cry, it makes it rather hard to make judgment calls! Part of the art of motherhood is learning how to read your baby and their needs. Soon, you are speaking their language!

Still, there is the occasional moment of emotion that a baby shows that ANYONE can read!

Those moments aren’t always common, but as they get older, they happen more. An intense giggle or laugh, a big sleepy yawn, or a cuddly coo are all examples of things that pretty much anyone can interpret if a baby does them. In one video, we see just how clearly a baby can show what they are feeling… when they want to!

In this video, we see an adorable baby show Grandma just how much she missed her!

We don’t know much about the people in the video – in fact, we don’t know anything at all! What we DO know is that the little girl is seeing Grandma for the first time in a while and is clearly very excited. When she gets held, the first thing she does is go full bite-mode on her!

The line between biting and kissing seems to be very thin for this little baby, but nobody seems to mind!

For a little girl with no teeth, biting and kissing probably isn’t all that different. When her Grandma takes her in her arms, she commences to covering her face with big slobbery “bite-kisses”. Cheek to chin, the little baby leaves no square inch of skin uncovered in slobber!

The entire group can’t help but burst out laughing as they watch the “greeting”!

Appearing to be out to lunch, the whole group of people can’t help but burst out laughing. Watching the little human slobber all over someone’s face is probably some pretty great mealtime entertainment! The biggest laugher of them all? Grandma!

Babies often mimic things they see humans do and this is probably her approximation of a kiss.

Even before babies can talk they are trying to mimic things.

If the little girl has been kissed a lot in her life, it’s very possible that she has responded with what she has seen! Regardless, it’s totally adorable and is sure to be something the entire family will look back on for years to come.

In the final moments of the video, we get to see Grandma returning the favor and planting a kiss or two on the baby’s head.

With a solid kiss to the forehead, the slobbery attack is finally ended. I’m sure the mom never wants her baby to grow out of this cuddly, kissy, stage!
