Brittany Beard was with her family, including her 3-year-old daughter, Briar, at a Spirit store while on vacation when Briar spotted something she must have.

Briar was holding a creepy alien-looking doll and told her mom that she was its mommy and it needs her.

“When we first bought it at the Spirit store, it was a huge drama because Briar had to have it and she was throwing a bit of a fit,” Brittany recalled.

The doll even caused a bit of drama because Briar’s 8-year-old older sister, Belle, couldn’t stand the horrifying doll.

In fact, Brittany’s husband had to take Belle to the bathroom so that Brittany could buy the doll without more family drama.

“I had to hide the doll and give it to [Briar] on the plane because Belle was so scared of it,” Brittany admitted.

Briar has named her Chloe while Brittany named her Creepy Chloe. She said she was pretty sure Creepy Chloe was “stealing my soul when I sleep.”

But Briar was obsessed. She brought Creepy Chloe everywhere.

She even brought the doll to Disney World and dressed Chloe as a princess. At Disney World, the staff found out about Briar and Creepy Chloe and loved that fact.

“While eating breakfast at the Grand Floridian cafe, they brought out the cast member pastry chef to meet Briar and Creepy Chloe because apparently, she loves all things spooky. She said she adored that Briar loved the doll and at the end of the meal, she surprised Briar with an amazing spooky cupcake and a mini handmade chocolate Haunted Mansion poster. It was actually really sweet!” Brittany shared.

Then they whisked the family off to Magic Kingdom, where Briar had a photoshoot with Creepy Chloe. In fact, the photographer loved Briar and her creepy doll that had so many pose suggestions for the two of them.

After that, they went to the Haunted Mansion, where there was a 50-minute wait. But not for Briar and Chloe.

They were whisked off to the “Servants Quarters” and saw all the keys and bells used to call the servants. Plus they were given official Haunted Mansion Caretaker certificates by the cast and escorted to the ride.

It was incredibly magical, all thanks to Creepy Chloe.

This isn’t the first time that Briar had a doll but this was the first time she became obsessed with a doll according to Brittany. One thing is for sure, Briar, even at three years old, is her own person. She knows what she wants and she’ll fight for what she wants.

And Brittany sees a lesson in all this.

“[Briar] doesn’t see it as [Creepy], she just sees it as different. She just sees it as needing a mommy or love. She is just being sweet and accepting,” Brittany added.

Briar’s family is gradually accepting that Creepy Chloe is now part of their lives.

And there is going to be an additional member soon! The Spirit store has sent Briar another doll. And Briar has already dubbed her Chloe’s “older sister,” Spooky Sally.
