Do you believe in God?

God’s existence is probably one of the most debatable topics of all-time, wouldn’t you agree? Most people (including me) believe that He is our creator and He is just up there watching over us, however, there are a few who says that He is just an image that people created.

This is not the question that was asked of a little lady battling Severe Congenital Neutropenia, but it is the question that rises to mind when you see such a beautiful little creature having to deal with such a big problem.

This brave little girl’s story might just give us the deepest realizations in life and the answers we are looking for.

In this stirring video, Leah is the three-year-old with an invasive tube glued to her cheek and running into her nose. Not the kind of thing you think about seeing when you think of a charming little lady. She’s been sick for quite some time, and her mom asks a series of questions from a kid’s personality test you find on the internet.

Leah answers with gusto, as only a girl of three with such amazing charisma can. That tube doesn’t seem to squelch her energy or her caliber of grace. When life pitched Leah a curveball, she shows us how to step up to the plate and take a crack at it.

Though she’s in deep waters, Leah’s answers are still the brightest and funniest.

She’s a role model not only to children of her age but also to people who are decades older than her.

As for that tube in her nose, Leah is battling Severe Congenital Neutropenia and complications from a bone marrow transplant. Not much fun for a three-year-old, but Leah and her family have taken it in stride.

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine,

“Severe congenital neutropenia is a condition that causes affected individuals to be prone to recurrent infections. People with this condition have a shortage (deficiency) of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell that plays a role in inflammation and in fighting infection.”

This then 3-year-old girl is a monument of faith and resiliency. Leah is the strongest link of her family and she sets a perfect example of a true fighter.

How can a sick toddler bring so much character and so much spirit? She simply is amazing!

It is evident that Leah is an old soul, as she answers these “get to know you better” type questions. Some of Leah’s answers are quite funny. When asked what she’s scared of, she whispers, “Tigers.” Which her mom notes, was the previous answer when asked, what is her favorite animal? A tiger is her favorite animal and what she’s most scared of.

When asked her favorite place to go, her answer prompts her mom to say, she’s a girl after her own heart. Where..? Target, of course.

Some of the questions get at the difficulties Leah is facing.

When asked, what makes her feel sad, Leah replies,

“Because I can’t go at your house. And I can’t go at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.”

What’s the kicker question that makes her mom cry?

“What does love mean?”

The adorable little girl pauses for a moment to think, then shocks mom with her answer.

“God.”In the midst of everything she is going through, she lays it out in the simplest of terms.

Leah’s mother couldn’t believe what she’s hearing from her little one that she begins to tear up.

She releases all the pain and anxiety that she’s had throughout this ordeal. She’s supposed to inspire Leah, but it’s the other way around. The brave little girl shows mom and everyone else in the world her strong will to live.

If you dig a little deeper into this one, you’ll be happy to know that Leah is recovering from her illness. She’s growing up healthy and full of energy. Leah has gotten through the tough times.

Going back to the question earlier, do you believe in God?
