Having a twin sounds cool. You grow up together, do things together, and so much more.

Jill Justiniani and Erin Cheplak are twin sisters. They grew up together and enjoyed experiencing life as they grew older. According to the beautiful ladies, they grew up really close.

As they grew older, they experienced different things, but they still wanted to remain close.

Erin Cheplak got married during the pandemic in a private celebration. They held another celebration a year later, last August 2021, to get together with their family and friends.

It was the morning of her wedding celebration when Erin received a call from her twin, Jill.

Jill told Erin that she was pregnant!

“I screamed and woke up my husband,” Cheplak recalled. “It was such an exciting time.”

After a week, Erin and her husband were in the Maldives. They were celebrating their much-awaited honeymoon when she felt something different.

“I took the pregnancy test and saw the two lines and it was very faint,” Cheplak smiled as she recalled the beautiful moment. “I was second-guessing, am I seeing what I’m seeing, and I FaceTimed Jill from the Maldives and she was like, ‘Yes, that’s it. That’s it.’”

What were the odds of Jill and Erin getting pregnant days apart?

Erin and Jill enjoyed their journey to motherhood. They almost had the same symptoms too. They shared each memory, and it couldn’t be more beautiful.

“Sharing our pregnancy together was really special because we really had the support of each other through every step of the process,” Justiniani said to GMA. “Even just going through the day-to-day changes of pregnancy, all of the unknowns and the questions and the natural worries that come up, we were constantly able to check in with each other and support each other.”

After a few months, Jill and Erin found out that they were both having baby boys!

Both of the twin’s husbands would always joke around that maybe, since they like doing things together, their baby boys would be born on the same day.

Though, they treated this as a joke since Jill was due one week ahead and was to deliver via C-section. Erin was scheduled to be induced on May 15.

On May 5, Erin, who was due on May 15, felt uneasy. She thought she was nervous because her twin was due to give birth via C-section later that day.

In a twist of fate, they rushed Erin to the hospital because her water bag broke!

Erin found herself in the same hospital as her sister.

Jill and Erin have the same birthday, and now their sons do, too!

The twins, both from California, gave birth, in a surprising twist, on the same day, May 5, at the same hospital.

Jill gave birth to Oliver at 6:39 p.m. while her sister, Erin, gave birth to her son, Silas 11:31 p.m.

“Part of me was thinking, ‘What are the odds of this? I can’t believe this is happening,’ but there was also a sense of calm about it because it was like of course this is happening,” Jill said. “We’ve just been so close and so inseparable. It made complete sense in a very odd way.”

Indeed, their story is one in a million!

The twin’s bond is now stronger than ever, and according to them, they would help each other and raise their sons in a loving home.
